From Sagada Genuine Guides Association Inc.

To our guests, travel agencies and locals.
Sagada Town is Doing great but getting there is a BIT of a problem especially if you have your Own Car.

Tommorrow (Friday) the Halsema Highway (Baguio-Sagada) route might be cleared but at the Municipality of Sabangan, (about 19kms from Sagada. The temporary bridge got washed out so going there directly is not possible with your car, you will need to transfer on to passenger vehicles in order to get there…

Also, if you are coming from Banaue, the Bridge at bontoc (19kms away) got damaged, thereby, vehicles are not allowed to pass by for the mean time.. you will need to transfer to our jeepneys also.

If you are planning a trip to Sagada this Weekend, i must warn you that there is a great possibility that Cave Tours will not be allowed, it will take time for the current inside the cave to recede.
